I can't wait for the remodeling to be finished!! Alicia's will look sooo beautiful!! They do excellent hair and spa services!! Very relaxing!! granted the front desk professionalism is being worked on as a whole there are some very experienced girls in there and alot of clientelle who've been going there for years. Feels home like. Alicia's very understanding and will do whatever it takes to please you if have ever felt displeased. She offers alot of discounts to keep clients coming back. Price wise you have to compare with your surrounding competitors. Not much difference!! Guess you have to expect with the rest of prices going up they have to be up to par to. Enjoyable place!! Give it a go!!

It's a mixed bag...

I've been patronizing Alicia's salon for 10 years, but I must say I'm growing weary of the constant ups and downs I have seen there. My stylist is AMAZING and I don't want to leave her, but it seems like every time I go to Alicia's the price for a haircut has gone up, again. I get great service from my personal stylist and from those that I know from going there over the years, but I'm not ususally impressed with the front desk staff. Greetings are sporadically present, depending on who is at the desk. I have been scheduled for a specific time only to show up and find out that, supposedly, my appointment was a half hour later. Seems a little strange to me. If someone messed up, I just wish they would be honest and apologize. I'm not difficult to get along with. I have also seen that children are not especially welcome in the salon, even if they are paying customers. Alicia herself has made comments to my children when they weren't misbehaving...just doing what kids do when mommy is getting a haircut. Alicia has very skilled stylists working for her and she is great about hosting fundraisers and other community events. She is generous about making donations to various causes and seems to have a good relationship with her employees. I have watched several apprentices become licensed stylists because of the opportunity given to them at Alicia's. I continue to go there because I have mixed feelings and wonder if anywhere else would be problem-free. Most likely not. My sisters, mom, and many of my friends have tried Alicia's because of my recommendations over time. These days, I find myself recommending a specific stylist and not necessarily the salon as a whole. It defeats the purpose, though, because you can love a stylist and be so turned off by a business that you aren't comfortable sending friends and loved ones there.

Great Seervice

I have been a client of Alicia's for 13 years. I started with her when she was just starting out as a stylist not long out of school. Since then I have seen her grow into not just a lovely woman but a very savvy business woman. Alicia knows what her clients want and she strives everyday to meet that goal. Alicia, and her staff, are continually going to hair shows and constantly bringing new techniques to her business. If someone is unhappy with a particular visit, I ask you to just let her know, and knowing Alicia as I do, she will do everything in her power to make it right. However, as I already stated, she is a very intelligent, savvy business woman and knows when someone is in the shop trying to get "something for nothing." If that is the case and you know who you are, then you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to "trash" the reputation of a respectable business. I have to ask, is this something you would want someone else to do to your friend or daughter? I don't deny that Alicia's is a little pricier than some other salons in town, but she provides a professional, personable, pampering service and goes out of her way to give you the "art of pampering" and if that is not what you are looking for then just remember, there is always "The Hair Cuttery" down the road!

Pampered Customer

When I first came to Alicia's Salon it was a great experience. I was greeted at the door by very professsional, well dressed, mature receptionists. I arrived 10 minutes early. I was then given some coffee to warm me up because it was a rainy day. By the time the coffee was served I was greeted by my hairdresser. I was taken back for my shampoo (which might I add was splendid), and when seated in the stylist chair here came a massage therapist who then gave me a complementary hand massage that was out of this world. When my haircut was finished I felt like I had had a mini makeover. Just when I thought this great experience was over, my stylist then escorted me to the makup station where I received a complementry makeup application. I felt like a millon bucks and did not want this experience to end. I felt so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this salon to ANYONE I know. If you want to feel better about yourself, completely pampered, and just have a wonderful experience come to Alicia's!!!

"Love" Alicia's Salon and Day Spa

I would like to tell everyone that my experience at Alicia's Salon and Day Spa has been awesome! Every time I go, I never have to wait and the service that I receive is excellent. Alicia does an awesome job on my color and cut. When I first started going, my hair was a mess now I get compliments on it all the time. I also like the soothing music that is played. It's very calming after having a stressful day at work. I've committed to Alicia on several occasions that her salon is just peaceful. I have and will continue to recommend Alicia's Salon to my friends and co-workers. I have been reading some of the comments made by other "supposedly" customers and I would just like to say that it appears to me that these so called customers are not really customers at all. You can just read some of the comments that they have made and they sound ridiculous. I would like to say to the person that wrote in comments under the name of: blahblahblah2121, you really need to learn how to spell. Your spelling and grammar is awful. It's really disturbing to me that people can be so mean and say such hateful things. I'm speaking from true experiences and again, I will continue to recommend Alicia's Salon and Day Spa to friends, family and co-workers.
